Ready to head home

Whitehall built in Washington, Maine

A local customer happened to bring by a whitehall rowboat that was built in Washington, Maine. We had just moved from that small town so it was nice to see the plaque.

She was having trouble is some of her planks. They had cracks in them clear through the planking. She was weakened and taking on water.

Her finish was very old and needed redone.

I fixed the cracks in the planking and cleaned up her transom. She also received paint and varnish.
